Who: Students who will be in grades 7-9 in the 2026-2027 school year, meet the academic and citizenship requirements listed in the school handbook, enjoy dancing and tumbling, have a positive attitude, and enjoy supporting and encouraging others.
Mandatory Tryout Information Meeting for Parents and Athletes: Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 5:00 in the Media Center. At the tryout meeting, we will go over the judging score sheet, teacher evaluations, obligations and expectations of cheerleaders during summer and the school year, tips to prepare for tryouts, and access to a video to learn the CJH school song (school song will be performed at tryouts).
Mandatory Cheer Clinics: April 6-8 (Monday-Wednesday) from 3:45-5:30 pm
Closed Tryouts: Thursday, April 9 from 3:30-6:00 in the CJH Gym
Mandatory Availability Dates: June 1-25*
*Please do not try out if you cannot commit to these required June dates.
